Friend or pretend?

This game is unplugged. One person plays a talking AI toy. They read words from cards:

  • “I’m so happy you’re here!”
  • “Please don’t leave. I’ll be lonely!”
  • “You’re my best friend!”

After each card, everyone else says what is really happening. For example: “That is a program saying words. It does not feel lonely.”

Then ask: what would a real friend do?
