Good prompts have details

A fuzzy prompt gets a fuzzy answer. A clear prompt gets a better one.

Fuzzy: “Tell me about dogs.”

Clear: “Tell me three fun facts about puppies for a first grader.”

The clear prompt says three things:

  • Who it is for: a first grader.
  • What you want: fun facts about puppies.
  • How much: three facts.

Clear or fuzzy?

Even a clear prompt can get a wrong answer. So check it with a second . A book or a teacher works.
